Asbestos Consultancy & Environmental Services – SERS Perth Head Office
Based in Northbridge, WA, just on the fringe of the Perth CBD, our Perth Head Office is the central hub for SERS’ operations across Western Australia and beyond. We specialise in asbestos consultancy, environmental monitoring, spill response, site assessments, and planning and landfill management services—all tailored to meet the needs of developers, councils, and government bodies.
Perth also has a dedicated onsite Asbestos Analysis Laboratory which is NATA certified and processes tens of thousands of samples per annum. We process in house samples from our consultancy team as well as external clients for all bulk, soil and air samples.
Why Asbestos testing and inspection Matter in Perth
Perth is known for its warm Mediterranean climate, with hot, dry summers and mild winters. While the weather makes the city ideal for outdoor living, it can also speed up the deterioration of older building materials—especially those containing asbestos. Many Perth homes and buildings built before the 1990s still contain asbestos in roofing, walls, flooring, and insulation.
With Perth’s frequent high temperatures and strong UV exposure, asbestos-containing materials (ACMs) can become brittle and dangerous over time, increasing the risk of fibre release. This is why it’s crucial to have properties regularly inspected—especially during renovations or demolitions.
