Description of Works
SERS have been involved on the Fuel Infrastructure project across many of its contractors to provide technical advice and Respirable Fibre Monitoring (RFM) services to various contractors on the project at the Parker Point bulk fuel store facility located at Dampier and owned by Rio Tinto Iron Ore (RTIO).
SERS have provided the following services to date;
-Respirable Fibre Monitoring (RFM) to site when asbestos removal was taking place for various contractors.
-Technical advice for methodologies for various contractors in the deconstruction of tanks and redundant fuel lines.
-Attendance to Risk assessment workshops at various stages throughout the process.
-Dust and noise assessments for Transfield Services.
Outcome
The project has been attended at various stages and at various levels of involvement with fluent efficient services offered by SERS. All works have been completed with an onsite presence and where required a field laboratory despatched.
